Join us:

As an EPC Development Engineer (f/m/x) at Zelestra, you will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge renewable energy sites. Your expertise will support site assessments, project design, cost estimation, and technical evaluations—playing a key role in bringing clean energy projects from concept to reality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate location suitability for renewable energy projects
• Determine optimal project configurations considering CAPEX, OPEX, and expected yield 
• Prepare preliminary layouts and single-line diagrams using PVCase/AutoCAD for stakeholder presentations 
• Develop electrical connection plans in LV and MV as needed 
• Perform energy yield assessments with PVsyst based on project layouts
• Estimate preliminary EPC costs using reference data from previous projects and EPC offers in Germany
• Coordinate procurement of site studies (Topo, Hydro, Geotech) and update designs accordingly 
• Collaborate with Business Development and M&A teams to provide technical insights for project acquisitions in Germany

• Strong results-oriented mindset with a hands-on approach
• Professional and effective communication skills, with  demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
• Several years of experience in renewable energy project development or engineering 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; PVCase and PVSyst are a plus 
• Knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems is advantageous
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site analysis
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or related field
