Key Account Manager (gn) – Climate Action

ClimatePartner is a leading solution provider for corporate climate action: We combine individual consulting with a cloud-based software that is unique on the market. We help our customers calculate and reduce carbon emissions and offset residual emissions. This renders products and companies carbon neutral, confirmed by our label.

We offer carbon offset projects in different regions and with different technologies and standards. The additional social benefits of the projects are particularly important to us. Our efforts are geared towards the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.

ClimatePartner was founded in Munich in 2006. Today, our more than 500 employees are spread across offices in Barcelona, Berlin, Boston, Essen, London, Milan, Munich (HQ), Paris, Stockholm, The Hague, Vienna and Zurich. We work with more than 5,000 companies in 60+ countries.

Your mission

• As a part of our Account Management team, you are in charge of several key accounts across our focus industries Industrial Goods, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Finance, Mobility or Services
• You are the go-to-person for the decision makers of the respective key accounts
• You drive climate action by developing our national and international customers
• You enhance our SaaS products by aligning customer requirements with our Digital Solutions team
• You spread the word on climate action by representing ClimatePartner at events, both on- and offline
• Together with the Industry Team Leads, you develop our go-to-market strategy for the respective industry

Your profile

• You are incredibly passionate about sustainability and climate change
• You have a Master’s or comparable degree - we welcome all fields of studies
• You have at least 8 years of experience in customer management, consulting or leading an organization
• You are comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and budget holders at a management and board-level
• You build relationships easily and can navigate large and/or complex organizations on national and international levels
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
• You communicate well and can turn complex information into convincing messages in both German and English
• Ideally, you have already worked in one of our focus industries
• Ideally, you have basic knowledge of GHG-accounting, carbon footprinting, Life Cycle Analysis and CSR
