Student assistant (m/f/d) in online course development

We, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG and the subsidiary RENAC energy & climate gGmbH, are internationally oriented training providers specialising in renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, and fields of application for green hydrogen and power-to-X. We offer online courses, in-person training in Germany and abroad, set up local training structures, implement study courses in cooperation with universities, and organise events as part of the Energy Export Initiative.

Since our establishment in 2008, we have trained and educated more than 30,000 participants from the public and private sectors as well as the financial sector in over 160 countries. Our highly accomplished and friendly solar and energy efficiency team is looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) for 15 to 20 hours/week starting as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• Supporting the entire team in the implementation of projects
• Supporting in the development of training content and training materials
• Formatting, standardising, cataloguing and translating course materials and other documents (depending on skillset)
• Providing technical support during live, virtual training and other events
• Providing logistics and back-office support during live, in-person training and other events
• Supporting in communication with project partners
• Performing internet research
• Working with and adapting RENAC database

Your profile:

• Enrollment in an engineering degree programme or similar in Berlin until at least autumn 2024
• Interest in solar PV and energy efficiency as well as in adult education
• Good English language skills
• Good knowledge of German, French, Spanish and other languages would be of advantage
• Good MS Office skills
• Ability to work in a team, but also independently
• Good organizational skills
• Highly desirable previous knowledge in the field of solar energy/energy efficiency
