Lead Engineer (f/m/x) Battery Mechanics for Automotive Battery Systems
in Finland: Uusikaupunki, Turku, Salo; or in Germany: Bad Friedrichshall, Munich

As a member of our Battery Mechanics Department, you’ll develop the battery systems of the future. You can look forward to a steep learning curve, a state-of-the-art test environment and fascinating projects.

 

Here’s where you’ll make an impact

  • You’ll create the concept definition of the battery mechanical architecture and assembly concept and execute the technical solution creation, as well as report and escalate in projects.
  • To achieve this, you’ll have the backing of the housing mechanical project team, which you’ll lead in regards to quality, timing, tasks & results.
  • Using your developed communication skills, you’ll interact with internal stakeholders and the customer during the whole development process and manage subcontractors.
  • Further you’ll conduct the requirements analysis and align with the mechanical team, and perform a risk management for battery housing.
  • As you’ll coordinate a team, your delegation skills are amazing and have a hands-on mentality, you are capable of work package planning, resource planning and project scheduling as well as able to take responsibility.

This is your basic equipment

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Experienced in Battery Mechanical Systems in the Automotive industry
  • Previous experience with Catia V5
  • Excellent knowledge in the development process in the automotive industry
  • Your English: Off the charts! Your Finnish or German: An asset! Other strong points of yours: team spirit, the joy of discovering new things, and your personal success formula ”change = chance”.
