Engineer for International Energy Efficiency Training Projects (m/f/d)

We, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG, are an internationally oriented training provider specialized in renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency. Our vision and mission is to support the development of sustainable energy technologies worldwide by sharing know-how and building training structures. We offer online and face-to-face training in Germany and abroad, set up local training structures, implement study courses in cooperation with universities and organize numerous events as part of the Energy Export Initiative.

Since our establishment in 2008, we have trained and educated more than 25.000 participants from the public and private sectors as well as the financial sector in over 160 countries. Our headquarters are in Berlin Mitte and we currently have 57 permanent employees.

To support our Solar and Energy Efficiency team we are looking for an Engineer for International Energy Efficiency Training Projects (m/f/d) in full or part time (30 - 38,5 h) starting September 2022. 

Your tasks:

• Design, planning and management of training programmes in the field of energy efficiency in buildings, commerce and industry (face-to-face and online trainings) nationally and internationally.
• Development of teaching content and teaching materials (face-to-face trainings and online)
• Management and quality control of the development of teaching materials by external specialists
• Delivering training activities on various aspects of energy efficiency in Berlin and worldwide
• Participation in the development of proposals for customers and international tenders
• Project management, review and coordination of external lecturers and service providers

What you should bring with you:

• Completed studies in engineering or similar
• Professional experience in the field of energy efficiency (industrial/commercial, building or both)
• Experience managing projects and small project teams
• Motivation to develop yourself professionally in the field of adult education and possibly first experience in conducting trainings
• You are a team player who can also work independently
• Solution-oriented and interdisciplinary way of working
• Professional written and spoken English; knowledge of German (B2+) and other languages are desirable
• Willingness to travel internationally for business and training
• You have good presentation skills and professionality
