About the Start Up Energy Transition (SET) Project

Start Up Energy Transition (SET) is a global innovation platform supporting innovation in energy transition. SET is implemented with the conviction that a sustainable future is directly linked to innovative business models and political will. The SET platform is powered by the German Energy Agency (dena), in cooperation with the World Energy Council (WEC).

At its core, the SET platform is built on three pillars: the SET Award, the SET Tech Festival, and the SET Newsroom.

Your tasks

  • Support in daily editorial planning and content creation incl. analysis of KPIs for the Start Up Energy Transition (SET) social media channels
  • Continuous updating of the Start Up Energy Transition website (Wordpress)
  • Support in the creation of visuals
  • Research activities and preparation of content and texts for online articles as well as preparation of reports and publications on the topics of climate neutrality, start-ups and innovation in the energy transition
  • Support in the organisation of national and international events (physical and virtual)

Your profile

  • Student of media management, communication, cultural studies, marketing, journalism, media design or a comparable subject
  • Experience in the field of social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, We don’t have time)
  • Knowledge of researching and analysing
  • Ability and willingness to familiarise yourself with technical topics
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this position German and other languages an advantage
  • Experienced in the use of common MS Office applications
  • Experience in using Canva and/or Adobe tools, especially Photoshop and Premiere are an advantage
